President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday officially codifying rates for nearly 70 countries while pushing back implementation by seven days.

The two countries will continue to negotiate over a 90-day period during which imports from Mexico will avoid a planned 30% tariff from the Trump administration. 

If the country retaliates, the U.S. will respond by raising its levies by an equal amount, per the executive order President Donald Trump signed Wednesday.

The food maker plans to expand manufacturing capabilities and boost innovation in the U.S., where 94% of its items sold are produced locally.

Under the proposed agreement, imports from South Korea would be subject to a 15% tariff while U.S.-originating goods would be exempt from duties.
